Removal

METER / GAUGE / DISPLAY: LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Roof Headlining (for Front Side)/Removal

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Roof Headlining (for Front Side)/Removal

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH   See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

4. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

5. REMOVE LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT

(a) Remove the 3 screws and finish panel No. 2 retainer with switch.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws to remove the light control rheostat from the finish panel No. 2 retainer.
