Convertible Top Control Module: Service and Repair
Removal

SLIDING ROOF / CONVERTIBLE: METAL TOP ROOF CONTROL COMPUTER: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
w/ Navigation System for HDD:

After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal    See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Navigation System/Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

4. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER HOOK HOLDER   See: Body and Frame/Roof and Associated Components/Convertible Top/Service and

5. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF GUIDE RAIL STOPPER   See: Body and Frame/Roof and Associated Components/Convertible Top/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER   See: Body and Frame/Roof and Associated Components/Convertible

Top/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

7. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect each connector.

(b) Remove the 2 nuts and bolt and remove the sliding roof control ECU assembly.
