(d) Put matchmarks on the intermediate shaft and universal joint flange.

(e) Using SST, remove the universal joint flange from the intermediate shaft.

NOTICE:
Apply grease to the threads and tip of the SST center bolt before use.

(f) Remove the No. 1 center support bearing assembly and 2 center support bearing washers from the intermediate shaft.

Reassembly

DRIVE SHAFT / PROPELLER SHAFT: PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for 4GR-FSE): REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO. 1 CENTER SUPPORT BEARING ASSEMBLY

(a) Set the No. 1 center support bearing assembly and 2 center support bearing washers on the intermediate shaft assembly as shown in the

illustration.
