Windshield Washer Motor: Service and Repair
Removal

WIPER / WASHER: WASHER MOTOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Assembly/Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR LH   See: Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Removal

6. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR   See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Removal

8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH   See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 3 COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 3 screws.

(b) Remove the clip.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts.

(d) Disengage the guide and remove the No. 3 cool air intake duct sub-assembly.
