Remove the right dust cover. From the front of the vehicle, route the block heater plug end of the cord through the opening between the A/C
condenser and the right headlight (FIG. 3).

Route the cord under the air duct and along the top ABS brake line. Route the cord down to the heater. Keep the cord away from the exhaust manifold
and the air conditioning high side line. Secure cord to the ABS brake line at areas "a, b, c, d" with electrical tape (FIG. 4).

Also, secure cord to A/C condenser bracket area "e" (FIG. 5). Reinstall the right dust cover. Ensure that the cord won't be damaged by hot parts or when
the hood is closed.

Reinstall the engine splash guard.

Refill and bleed the cooling system as described in the Service Manual (use only Toyota recommended coolant). Run the engine and check for
leaks.
