Repair Procedure

1.

Order a replacement Lexus Link ECU through the exchange program via the vendor exchange application in Dealer Daily.

2.

Check the current number of PCS (Personal Calling) minutes available.

A.

Press the voice recognition button on the Lexus Link button module and say "Units".

The system will respond with "Verify or Add".

B.

Say "Verify".

The system will respond with the number of PCS minutes remaining.

C.

Write down the number of minutes remaining.

D.

Press the voice recognition button to end voice recognition mode.

3.

Replace the Lexus Link ECU.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), applicable model year and model Owner's Manual: Lexus Link.

4.

Put the Lexus Link ECU into demo mode (changing Lexus Link from Factory Mode to Demo Mode [a.k.a. Dealer Mode]).

Turn the ignition from OFF to ON.

The vehicle can be running, but does not have to be.
