Problem Symptoms Table - LIN Communication System

Use the table to help determine the cause of the problem symptom. The potential causes of the symptoms are listed in order of probability in the
"Suspected Area" column of the table. Check each symptom by checking the suspected areas in the order they are listed. Replace parts as
necessary.

Problem symptoms may occur if the electric power control system's functions malfunction. Follow the HOW TO PROCEED WITH
TROUBLESHOOTING procedures.

Inspect the fuses and relays related to the system before inspecting the suspected areas.

Driver Side Switch Module LIN Communication Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The outer mirror switch monitors the LIN communication bus between the components related to the switches on the driver side seat.

HINT:  DTC U1127, U1128 and U1129 are output simultaneously when: 1. there is an open or short in the LIN communication bus between the
switches on the driver side seat, and 2. their LIN communication bus stops.
