Introduction

If it is necessary to replace the Navigation Display (Electro Multi-Vision with Navigation [EMVN]) on the 2007 model year LS 460, the customer's Hard
Disc Drive (HDD) must be removed from the old unit and paired (initialized) to the new EMVN.

If it is necessary to install a new HDD only into a customer's EMVN unit, the new HDD must be paired (initialized) to the existing EMVN.

Follow the procedures in this bulletin to initialize the EMVN/HDD unit.

NOTE:
The EMVN or HDD CANNOT be swapped separately into another unit for troubleshooting purposes. These parts MUST be paired with a new or
exchange unit. The EMVN and HDD unit can be installed into another vehicle ONLY AS A COMPLETE UNIT for diagnostic purposes.
