Seat Occupant Sensor: Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

With Manufacturer's Scan Tool

CLEAR DTC

a. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
b. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
c. Turn the tester on.
d. Enter the following menus:

1. Intelligent tester-Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / (desired system) / DTC INFO /
2. Techstream-Select: Body / (desired system) / Trouble Codes /

e. Erase the DTCs.

Without Scan Tool

LEXUS does not provide a procedure for Clearing Trouble Codes Without Scan Tool.

With Manufacturer's Scan Tool

CHECK DTC

a. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
b. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
c. Turn the tester on.
d. Enter the following menus:

1. Intelligent tester-Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / (desired system) / DTC INFO /
2. Techstream-Select: Body / (desired system) / Trouble Codes /

e. Read the DTCs.

Without Scan Tool
