Installation

NAVIGATION: NAVIGATION ANTENNA: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for HDD)

(a) Attach the 2 clamps.
(b) Install the antenna with the 2 screws.

2. INSTALL NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for DVD)

(a) Attach the 4 clamps.
(b) Install the antenna with the 2 screws.

3. INSTALL NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Reassembly

4. INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Reassembly

5. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Reassembly

6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the instrument panel safety pad See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Installation.

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
8. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Installation
9. INSPECT STEERING PAD See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering Pad/Removal

10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

11. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic
