Removal

CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: TELEPHONE ANTENNA: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.
NOTE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and
settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery
terminal.

2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the roof headlining  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Roof Headlining (for Standard
Body)/Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the roof headlining  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Roof Headlining (for Long
Body)/Removal.

3. REMOVE TELEPHONE ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 antenna cord connectors.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the protector.

(c) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
