Entertainment System Control Module: Service and Repair
Removal

AUDIO / VISUAL: REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT ECU: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.
NOTE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and
settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery
terminal.

11. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (W/ Rear Cooler) See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and Repair/Air

13. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY See: Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc/Amplifier/Service and Repair/Removal

14. REMOVE REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT ECU WITH BRACKET

(a) Disconnect the connectors.
(b) Remove the 2 nuts and ECU with bracket.

15. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT ECU BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and bracket.
