(4) Install the parking brake cable to the support bracket with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(5) With the vehicle on the ground, check that the gap between the parking brake cable and drive shaft, and the gap between the parking brake

cable and shaft boot are 10 mm (0.394 in.) or more.

HINT: Make sure that the cable is not twisted.

(b) Install the No. 1 parking brake shoe return spring LH and RH.
