Removal

1UR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: KNOCK SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

(a) Remove the intake manifold See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Removal.

2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Fuel Injector (for

Direct Injection)/Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Fuel Injector (for

Direct Injection)/Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Fuel Injector

6. REMOVE SEPARATOR CASE

(a) Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and separator case.

7. REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the 4 knock sensor connectors.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts and 4 knock sensors.
