(b) Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.

Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the camshaft timing oil control valve (connecting surface with cylinder head
cover).

-

Be careful that the O-ring is not cracked or moved out of place when installing the camshaft timing oil control valve.

(c) Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Installation
4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Installation

5. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Installation
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
7. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Installation
8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

9. DRIVING TEST

(a) After the engine is warmed up, perform the driving test. Then check that the oil control valve operates normally.
