Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair
Installation

1UR-FSE EMISSION CONTROL: PURGE VALVE: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL PURGE VSV

(a) Install the purge VSV with the bolt.

Torque: 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 purge line hoses to the purge VSV.
(c) Connect the purge VSV connector.

2. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Installation
3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP LH

(a) Install the air cleaner cap LH.

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP RH

(a) Install the air cleaner cap RH.

5. INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Installation
6. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Installation
7. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Installation
8. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine/Installation

9. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine/Installation

10. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Installation
11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming
and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

12. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Installation
