Fuel Pressure Relief Valve: Service and Repair
Installation

1UR-FSE FUEL: FUEL RELIEF VALVE: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL RELIEF VALVE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install a new gasket to the relief valve.
(b) Using a 14 mm deep socket wrench, install the relief valve to the No. 2 delivery pipe.

Torque: 29 Nm (296 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
-

Do not apply oil to the threads of the relief valve and delivery pipe.

-

Do not allow foreign matter to enter the pipe during the installation.

(c) Install the No. 1 fuel pipe.

(d) Connect the No. 3 fuel hose.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
3. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD

(a) Install the intake manifold See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Installation.

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

6. ADD ENGINE COOLANT See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair
7. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General

Diagnostics

8. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK See: Testing and Inspection
