(a) Install the battery tray with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47 in-lbf)

8. INSTALL BATTERY

(a) Install the battery.
(b) Install the battery insulator.

(c) Install the battery clamp with the nut.

Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47 in-lbf)

(d) Connect the battery cable clamp.
(e) Connect the cable to the positive (+) battery terminal.

Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47 in-lbf)

17. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Installation
18. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Installation
19. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming
and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.
