Parking Assist Control Module: Service and Repair
Installation

PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: PARKING ASSIST ECU (W/ Advanced Parking Guidance System): INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL PARKING ASSIST ECU

(a) Install the parking assist ECU to the bracket with the nut and bolt.

Avoid any impact to the parking assist ECU.

-

Do not drop the ECU. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

2. INSTALL PARKING ASSIST ECU WITH BRACKET

(a) Install the parking assist ECU with bracket with the nut and bolt.

(b) Connect the parking assist ECU connectors.

3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

4. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service

and Repair/Installation

5. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG LOWER See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Front

6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Front Passenger Side Knee

7. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
11. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Installation
12. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.
