1. INSTALL TCM

(a) Install the TCM with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 4 connectors.

2. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER

(a) Install the engine room ECU cover with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 7.8 Nm (80 kgf-cm, 69 in-lbf)

3. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the air cleaner inlet cover with the 2 clips.

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming
and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Installation
7. CHECK AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM PRECAUTION

(a) After replacing the TCM, certain procedures are necessary See: Powertrain Management/Transmission Control Systems/Service
