REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle

Body/Service and Repair/Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair
6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair
7. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

(b) Using a 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, remove the sensor and gasket.
(c) Remove the gasket from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
