Removal

1UR-FSE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Fuel Injector (for Port

Injection)/Removal

2. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

(a) Discharge fuel system pressure See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Service Precautions/Precaution.

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and
settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery
terminal.

4. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

(a) Remove the intake manifold See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Removal.

5. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the fuel pressure sensor and gasket.
