SUSPENSION CONTROL: HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR (for Front LH): REMOVAL
REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Be sure to read the "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing See: Suspension/Service Precautions/Suspension Control System.
HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.
NOTE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and
settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery
terminal.
3. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
4. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY FRONT LH
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and disconnect the height control sensor link from the lower arm.
(c) Remove the 2 bolts and detach the 2 clips.
(d) Remove the height control sensor.
NOTE:
Do not drop the height control sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
