AXLE: REAR AXLE HUB BOLT: REPLACEMENT
REPLACEMENT
1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Hub/Removal
3. REMOVE REAR DISC See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake System/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Brake/Removal
4. REMOVE REAR AXLE LH HUB BOLT
(a) Using SST, remove the rear axle hub bolt.
SST: 09650-17011
5. INSTALL REAR AXLE LH HUB BOLT
(a) Install a washer and nut to a new bolt as shown in the illustration.
(b) Using a screwdriver or an equivalent to hold the hub and bearing, install the rear axle hub bolt by tightening the nut.
NOTE:
Do not damage the threads of the hub bolts.

7. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE See: Brakes and Traction Control/Parking Brake System/Adjustments
8. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Hub/Installation
9. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 140 Nm (1428 kgf-cm, 103 ft-lbf)
