INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
The vehicle is equipped with an SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) which includes components such as airbags. Before servicing
(including removal or installation of parts), be sure to read the Precaution in the Supplemental Restraint System    See: Restraint
Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY - SPIRAL CABLE)

(a) Disconnect the L59 display and navigation module display connector.

(b) Disconnect the L134 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG --  REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the spiral cable sub-assembly    See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable/Service and

Repair/Removal.
