Thermostat: Service and Repair
Removal

1UR-FSE COOLING: THERMOSTAT: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Removal

2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle

Body/Service and Repair/Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET   See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH   See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine/Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER   See: Coolant/Service and Repair

6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT   See: Coolant/Service and Repair

7. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 2 reservoir hoses.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and reservoir.

8. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

9. REMOVE WATER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH THERMOSTAT

(a) Remove the 3 nuts, water inlet with thermostat and gasket.
