(b) Disconnect the heater water inlet hose.

6. DISCONNECT OUTLET HEATER WATER HOSE

HINT
Disconnection of the heater water outlet hose is the same as for the heater water inlet hose.

7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD

(a) Remove the instrument panel safety pad    See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal.

8. REMOVE AIR DUCT

(a) Remove the bolt.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the duct.

9. REMOVE AIR DUCT

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the duct.

10. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the steering column    See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Steering Column Assembly (W/ VGRS)/Removal.

11. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the windshield wiper motor    See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Removal.

12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY
