Secondary Injector Control Module: Service and Repair
Removal

1UR-FSE FUEL: INJECTOR DRIVER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH   See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory
and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative
(-) battery terminal.

3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Removal

5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine/Removal

6. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine/Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET   See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Removal

8. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE   See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Removal

9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP LH

(a) Remove the air cleaner cap LH.

10. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP RH

(a) Remove the air cleaner cap RH.

11. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Removal

12. REMOVE INJECTOR DRIVER

(a) Disconnect the 8 injector driver connectors.

(1) Disconnect the 6 connectors with wire harness locks and the 2 connectors without wire harness locks from the 2 injector drivers.

HINT
To release each connector lock, push the claw downward ("Release" in the illustration) and move the lock lever ("Move" in the
illustration).
