Oil Level Sensor: Service and Repair
Removal
1UR-FSE LUBRICATION: OIL LEVEL SENSOR (for 2WD): REMOVAL
1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair
2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Engine/Removal
3. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR LOWER See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement/Engine/Removal
4. DRAIN ENGINE OIL See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Engine Lubrication/Engine Oil/Service and Repair/Replacement
5. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER TUBE
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 clamps to disconnect the No. 1 oil cooler inlet tube and No. 1 oil cooler outlet tube.
6. REMOVE CRANK POSITION SENSOR BRACKET
(a) Using a clip remover, disconnect the harness clamp.
(b) Remove the bolt and crank position sensor bracket.
7. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts.
