(a) Install the rear shock absorber on the vehicle by installing the 3 nuts on the suspension support side.

Torque : 64 Nm (653 kgf-cm, 47 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
When installing the shock absorber, make sure the lower coil spring bottom tip is on the vehicle's front side.

(b) Temporarily install the rear shock absorber lower side with a new nut and washer to the axle carrier.

(c) Tighten the new lock nut.

Torque : 27 Nm (275 kgf-cm, 20 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL REAR SHOCK ABSORBER CAP LH

(a) Install the cap with the 3 nuts to the shock absorber.

Torque : 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

3. CONNECT TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Hub/Installation

4. CONNECT REAR UPPER NO. 2 CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Hub/Installation

5. CONNECT REAR UPPER NO. 1 CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Hub/Installation

6. STAKE REAR AXLE SHAFT LH NUT   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Hub/Installation

7. INSTALL LOAD SENSING VALVE SENSOR BRACKET   See: Sensors and Switches - Suspension/Ride Height Sensor/Service and

Repair/Height Control Sensor (for Rear LH)/Installation

8. INSTALL REAR SPEED SENSOR LH   See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Wheel Speed
