Front Shock Absorber (w/ Air Suspension)

SUSPENSION: FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER (w/ Air Suspension): INSPECTION

1. INSPECT PNEUMATIC FRONT LH WITH SHOCK ABSORBER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

(a) Extend the pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber and check that it is as described below.

OK:

While extending the cylinder at a constant speed, the load is constant for each stroke and there is no abnormal feedback or noises.
Also, the cylinder returns at a constant speed when extended.

(b) If an abnormality is found, replace the pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber with a new one.

NOTICE:
When extending the pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber front LH, do not block the air inlet/outlet opening.

(c) While adjusting the damping force control rod to hard, semihard, medium, soft and semisoft, inspect the pneumatic front LH with shock

absorber cylinder assembly by compressing and extending it.

OK:

There is a difference in the damping force.
