Removal

WINDSHIELD / WINDOW GLASS: BACK WINDOW GLASS: REMOVAL

HINT
When removing the moulding, heat the vehicle body and moulding using a heat light.

Heating temperature:

NOTICE:
Do not heat the vehicle body and moulding excessively.

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH   See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

w/ Navigation System (for HDD):

*

After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table
before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

(a) for Power Seat:

Remove the rear seat    See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat Assembly (for Power
Seat)/Removal.

(b) for Ottoman:

Remove the rear seat    See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat Assembly (for
Ottoman)/Removal.

(c) for Fixed Seat Type:

Remove the rear seat    See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat Assembly (for Fixed Seat
Type)/Removal.

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate    See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Roof Headlining (for Standard Body)/Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate    See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and
