Installation

AUDIO / VISUAL: STEERING PAD SWITCH: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the switch with the 4 screws.
(b) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL STEERING PAD See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering Pad/Installation

3. INSTALL SWITCH AND VOLUME CASE See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering Pad/Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering

Pad/Installation

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH See: Starting and Charging/Battery

7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

8. INSPECT STEERING PAD See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering Pad/Installation

9. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic
