3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
-

After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory
and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-)
battery terminal.

When disconnecting the cable some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming
and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

(a) for Power Seat:

Remove the rear seat  See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly (for Power Seat)/Removal.

(b) for Ottoman:

Remove the rear seat  See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly (for Ottoman)/Removal.

(c) for Fixed Seat:

Remove the rear seat  See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly (for Fixed Seat Type)/Removal.

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal

7. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal

8. REMOVE REAR HEADER SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts.
(b) Detach the clip.
(c) Disconnect the speaker connector and remove the speaker.

NOTE: Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.

Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.

The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL REAR HEADER SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the speaker connector.
(b) Attach the clip to install the speaker.
(c) Install the 2 bolts.

NOTE: Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.
