2. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Check for current DTC See: Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
HINT: For the blinking pattern, refer to the DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM  See: Diagnosis System and DTC CHECK / CLEAR  See: Reading and
Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

Result

HINT: *: If blinking pattern 5-1 is output, check for DTCs using the intelligent tester or Techstream.

3. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Check for historic DTC See: Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

4. DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

HINT: Even if the malfunction that caused the DTC output during the historic DTC check is fixed, the FAST2 blinking pattern of the current
DTC will remain.

5. CLEAR HISTORIC DTC

(a) Clear historic DTC See: Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

6. CONFIRMATION TEST

DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

1. DESCRIPTION

When a system error is detected, the LEXUS Link system informs the driver of the error by illuminating the red LED on the map light.
If the red LED is malfunctioning, the following voice warning is provided:
"A system error has been detected. Please contact your LEXUS dealer."
