Hood Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair
Installation

THEFT DETERRENT: ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

(b) Connect the hood lock control cable.
(c) Install the hood lock with the 2 bolts and nut.

Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(d) Install a new cap.

2. INSTALL FRONT FENDER PROTECTOR UPPER LH See: Hood Latch Release Cable/Service and Repair/Installation

3. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

(a) Attach the claw to install the cover.
(b) Install the 3 screws.

4. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Collision Avoidance and Parking

5. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Collision Avoidance and Parking

6. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY See: Grille/Service and Repair/Installation

7. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Radiator/Service and Repair/Installation
