15. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER See: Hybrid Drive Systems/Battery System, Hybrid Drive/Hybrid Battery Service Switch

16. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

17. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH See: Starting and Charging/Battery

18. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

19. BLEEDING PRECAUTION

CAUTION: Be sure to read the "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before bleeding  See: Service Precautions.

20. CONNECT BRAKE ACCUMULATOR PUMP CONNECTORS

(a) Connect the 2 brake accumulator pump connectors.

Before connecting the vehicle wire harnesses, make sure that the connector faces are free of foreign matter.

-

Make sure that the connectors are locked securely.

21. PERFORM ACCUMULATOR ZERO DOWN See: Brake Fluid/Service and Repair

22. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID See: Brake Fluid/Service and Repair

23. BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM See: Brake Fluid/Service and Repair

24. PERFORM ACCUMULATOR ZERO DOWN See: Brake Fluid/Service and Repair

25. INSPECT AND ADJUST BRAKE FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR See: Brake Fluid/Testing and Inspection

26. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK
27. CHECK AND ADJUST BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT See: Brake Pedal Assy/Adjustments

28. ADJUST BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR See: Brake Pedal Assy/Adjustments

29. CHECK BRAKE PEDAL FREE PLAY See: Brake Pedal Assy/Adjustments

30. CHECK BRAKE PEDAL RESERVE DISTANCE See: Brake Pedal Assy/Adjustments
