(d) Install the front exhaust pipe to the tailpipe LH and RH side with the 4 bolts.

Torque: 39 Nm (398 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)

HINT: During installation, hold the front exhaust pipe.

(e) Connect the sensor connector.

7. INSTALL EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Install the exhaust gas temperature sensor See: Powertrain Management/Emission Control Systems/Exhaust Gas Recirculation/EGR

Temperature Sensor/Service and Repair/Installation.

8. CONNECT EXHAUST PIPE AIR HOSE
9. CONNECT NO. 2 HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2)

NOTE: Do not strike the metal part of the sensor.

(a) Rotate the sensor counterclockwise the same number of times as recorded in the removal procedure, and install it to the front exhaust pipe by

hand.
NOTE: After rotating the sensor to the left the same number of times as the removal procedure, install it while making sure that the wire
harness is not twisted.
