AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING UNIT (for Rear Side): INSPECTION

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SMOKE SENSOR

(a) Connect the positive (+) lead to terminal 3, and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1.

NOTE: After connecting the battery to the sensor terminal, wait 35 seconds or more before measuring the voltage.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Perform the inspection with the sensor in a dark place, as the sensor uses light to detect smoke.

When performing the smoke inspection, perform the inspection after applying tobacco smoke for 26 seconds or more to the sensor.

If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
