Installation

L110F HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL: HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ECU BRACKET

(a) Install the 2 ECU brackets with the 4 screws.

Torque: 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 in-lbf)

2. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU

(a) Install the hybrid vehicle control ECU with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 4 hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors.

3. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Engine Control Module/Service and

Repair/Installation

4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Assembly/Installation

5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Assembly/Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair
Instruction - Initialization.

7. RESET MEMORY

(a) If the hybrid vehicle control ECU is replaced, initialize the learning value of the automatic transmission See: Transmission and

Drivetrain/Continuously Variable Transmission/Transaxle/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.
