Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair
Installation

LIGHTING: HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight): INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB

(a) Lock the set spring and install the discharge headlight bulb.

NOTE: Do not touch the glass part of the bulb.

(b) Turn the headlight control ECU in the direction indicated by the arrow and install the socket.

NOTE: Install the socket so that the wire harness is pointed downwards.

(c) Turn the back cover in the direction indicated by the arrow and install it.

2. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Installation

3. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Installation

4. INSTALL FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH 

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH See: Starting and Charging/Battery

7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
