2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (STOP LIGHT)

(a) Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, perform the Active Test.

(1) Intelligent tester

OK:
Stop light condition is switched by Active Test.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (STOP LIGHT SWITCH)

(a) Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, read the Data List.

(1) Intelligent tester

(2) Techstream

OK:
Condition sign can be displayed.
NG -- INSPECT STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- REPLACE LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK (REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)

4. INSPECT STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the stop light switch See: Service and Repair/Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
