REPLACEMENT

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Hub/Removal

3. REMOVE REAR DISC See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake System/Service and Repair/Rear Brake/Removal

4. REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB BOLT LH

(a) Using SST, remove the rear axle hub bolt.

SST: 09650-17011

5. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB BOLT LH

(a) Install a washer and nut to a new bolt as shown in the illustration.
(b) Using a screwdriver or equivalent to hold the hub and bearing, install the rear axle hub bolt by tightening the nut. 

NOTE: Do not damage the threads of the hub bolts.

6. INSTALL REAR DISC See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake System/Service and Repair/Rear Brake/Installation

7. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE See: Brakes and Traction Control/Parking Brake System/Adjustments

8. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Hub/Installation

9. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

Torque: 140 Nm (1428 kgf-cm, 103 ft-lbf)
