REMOVAL

HINT: When viewed from the rear of the engine assembly, Bank 1 is on the left side and Bank 2 is on the right side.

1. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2)

(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.
(b) Using SST, remove the sensor from the front exhaust pipe.

SST: 09224-00010

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

(a) Remove the front door scuff plate RH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal.

3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

(a) Remove the cowl side trim board RH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal.

4. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR SILENCER PAD RH
5. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 AIR DUCT
6. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2)

(a) Interior Side:

Disconnect the sensor connector.

(b) Exterior Side:

(1) Remove the grommet.
(2) Using SST, remove the sensor from the front exhaust pipe.
