Removal

2UR-FSE EMISSION CONTROL: CANISTER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FLOOR NO. 1 UNDER COVER

(a) Remove the 2 hole plugs.
(b) Remove the 5 nuts, 5 clips and under cover.

2. REMOVE CANISTER

(a) Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the clamp labeled A shown in the illustration.
(b) Disconnect the air inlet line hose (connected to the leak detection pump) labeled B from the air inlet line tube shown in the illustration.
(c) Disconnect the purge line hose labeled C shown in the illustration form the pipe.

(d) Remove the 4 bolts, 2 plastic nuts and canister.

(e) Using a clip remover, detach the 2 wire harness clamps.
(f) Disconnect the leak detection pump connector.
