Installation

ENGINE IMMOBILIZER: CERTIFICATION ECU: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU

(a) Install the ECU with the nut.
(b) Connect the 2 connectors.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument

3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service

and Repair/Installation

4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Installation

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH See: Starting and Charging/Battery

7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

8. REGISTER ECU CODE

(a) Register the ECU code See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Antitheft and Alarm Systems/Testing and Inspection/Programming and

Relearning/Engine Immobilizer System.
