Parking Assist Control Module: Service and Repair
Installation

PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: PARKING ASSIST ECU (w/ Advanced Parking Guidance System): INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart  See: Specifications/Mechanical Specifications/Standard Bolt -
Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL PARKING ASSIST ECU

(a) Install the parking assist ECU to the bracket with the nut and bolt.

Avoid any impact to the parking assist ECU.

-

Do not drop the ECU. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

2. INSTALL PARKING ASSIST ECU WITH BRACKET

(a) Install the parking assist ECU with bracket with the nut and bolt.

(b) Connect the parking assist ECU connectors.

5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and

Repair/Front Passenger Side Knee Airbag Assembly/Installation

6. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Front Passenger Side Knee
