4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat
belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
-

After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory
and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-)
battery terminal.

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

(a) Remove the rear seat See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly (for Power Seat)/Removal.

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)

(a) Remove the rear seat See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly (for Ottoman)/Removal.

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)

8. REMOVE COOLING BOX ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 6 bolts and cooling box.

9. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

10. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

16. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler)

(a) Detach the 2 clips and remove the cover.

20. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH 

21. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY

22. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

23. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

24. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH

25. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH
