Removal

WIPER AND WASHER: RAIN SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH See: Starting and Charging/Battery

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
-

After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory
and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-)
battery terminal.

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR COVER See: Body and Frame/Mirrors/Service and Repair/Inner Rear View Mirror/Removal

5. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Mirrors/Service and Repair/Inner Rear View Mirror/Removal

6. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR

(a) Pull the stopper in the direction shown in the illustration, and release the lock.

(b) Disconnect the connector, and remove the rain sensor.
