(a) Install the acceleration sensor with bracket to the instrument panel reinforcement with the bolt.

Torque: 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)

Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor.

-

Do not drop the acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

(b) Connect the sensor connector.

7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque: 5.6 Nm (57 kgf-cm, 50 in-lbf)

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

9. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH  See: Starting and Charging/Battery

10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

11. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
